Adamawa State Ministry of Health Accounts For 19 New Cases of Cholera

The Adamawa State Ministry of Health has affirmed 19 new
instances of cholera in Mubi North and Mubi South nearby government territories.

An announcement yesterday by the Information Officer in the service, Mr Mohammed Abubakar, said 16 of the new cases were recorded in Mubi South while three were accounted for in Mubi North.
The statement said 1,227 cases were recorded in the past one month resulting in 20 deaths, while 19 patients were still on admission at the treatment centre in Mubi General Hospital as at June 10.

It added that Hong Local Government Area had five cases without death; Maiha Local Government Area had three cases without death; Mubi North had 526 cases with 11 deaths and Mubi South had 693 cases with 9 deaths
