FLOODS: See How Heavy Downpour Wrecked Some Communities In Ondo, Destroys Property

Properties worth millions of naira were on Monday annihilated
by surge which happened after a heavy downpour at Ikare Akoko, in the Akoko North-East Local Government Area of Ondo State.

The deluge, which began at around 6pm, was accounted for to have destroyed havoc on some streets of the town like Ilepa, Jubilee, Ese, Okorun, Semusemu, Okoja and Iku, among others.

A source told The Punch the Victory College area of the town was worst hit, adding that scores of vehicles, motorcycles, shops and other valuables were submerged by the flood, but no life was reportedly lost in the incident.
