Jude Okoye shares touching story of how he slept under bridges when he first went to lagos

The former manager of
the P-Square music
group, Jude Okoye has shared a short motivational story of
how he suffered during his early days in Lagos. He said he spent his first four
nights in Lagos under a bridge, as that was just how it was.
According to him, he had traveled to Lagos to advance his music
hustle. This was way back in 1995. He
added that he had to do a side hustle to survive those harsh days.

The side
hustle in question was “conductor work” which is quite easy to come by in a
city like Lagos. In the end, he broke
through and ended up managing the biggest African music duo.
His hustle eventually paid off and is evident in the lives
of Peter and Paul who grew to become the richest African musicians. It won’t be
out of place to say that over 98% of his fans and P-Square’s fans didn’t know that
the manager of the biggest music crew in Africa once slept under bridges and
even rendered conductor services to survive in Lagos.
