Nigerian drug peddler charged with attempted murder after injuring two Indian policemen .
Two Mumbai policemen were injured during a crackdown on a Nigerian drug peddling racket in the late hours of Wednesday. .
A joint team of Mumbai Police, Government Railway Police (GRP) and Railway Protection Force (RPF) worked together in the operation. .
One Nigerian man identified as Adama, 28, was arrested while eight others fled by taking advantage of a passing train. An RPF constable and a Mumbai police sub-inspector were injured during the raid. .
Constable Salim Gani Shaikh suffered head injuries after being hit with a stick. Around 10 grams of cocaine and 16 grams of mephedrone were seized during the operation. Adama has been booked for attempted murder.
