The Ondo State Police Command on Friday captured the cook who supposedly killed his
supervisor, Chief Opeyemi Bademosi, the Chief Executive Officer, Credit Switch Limited.
The cook, Sunday Anani, a Togolese, had stabbed the deceased with a knife in his (Bademosi's) living arrangement on Onikoyi Lane, Parkview Estate, Ikoyi, on Wednesday, three days after he was employed.
Giving update, the state Police PRO, Femi Joseph, said;

The police declared him wanted and fortunately for us today (Friday), the DPO, Fagun division, Ondo Town, SP Olajide Samuel, and his team were able to track and arrest the suspect along with two others in Ondo Town.
“He is in our custody and has been giving us useful information. We will not want to talk much about the suspect for now in order not to jeopardise our investigation. He is still giving us useful information.
“He has said many things that will be useful to us. We still want to remain silent on the information he has given us. As soon as we complete our investigation in Ondo and Lagos, we shall surely let the public know what really transpired and how the incident took place.”
The suspect was not allowed to talk to journalists.
The spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command, CSP Chike Oti, in a statement on Friday, confirmed that the suspect was being interrogated at the command.
He said, “The fleeing cook, later identified as Sunday Anani, 22 years old, was arrested by homicide detectives attached to the State Criminal Investigation And Intelligence Department, Yaba. He is now undergoing interrogation.
“Recall that the Commissioner of Police in Lagos had promised Lagosians that the suspect would be arrested to face the law. At the end of the investigation, the command, in its usual manner, will give the public a detailed account of how the suspect committed the crime.”
