The governorship candidate of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos State, Jimi
Agbaje has made it known he decided to run yet another gubernatorial race because he couldn't find a 'suitable' younger candidate for the herculean task.
In an interview with Channels TV, he said that he had zeroed his mind as regards contesting again. However, he couldn't get a suitable young candidate to represent the people.
The politician, who had lost two governorship elections said: "After my running in 2015, I felt if I didn't win, we could get a younger person to run but in all honesty, I've spent the last three years trying to encourage younger indigenous Lagosians to see who would be able to run, who we would be able to back up. But unfortunately, we didn't get any".
