The police in Lagos have apprehended one Shola Adewunmi for
igniting the home of a lady he had dispute with.The occurrence happened at the early long stretches of Wednesday at Powerline Road, close to Lawyer Raji Street.
Adewunmi, as of now held at the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID) Panti, Yaba, was captured by policemen appended to Alagbado Division after his telephone gave him away.
According to The Nation, it was gathered the suspect at the wee hours of Wednesday set fire in the shanty occupied by the woman, Iya Ayo and her three children- Ayo, Nifemi and Esther. While Nifemi was said to have died as a result of the fire, it was gathered the woman and her two other children sustained severe burns.
Police Commissioner Imohimi Edgal, who led reporters to the scene, described the incident as man’s inhumanity to man.
Edgal said the Divisional Police Officer, who responded to the fire incident, discovered a phone which was found to belong to Adewunmi when traced.
