Boko Haram Strikes Again! Attacks Military Base, Burn Camps and Shelters Of IDPs In
Insurgency group, Boko Haram registered their names again when they attacked a military base in remote northeast Nigeria.
The attack which happened in Rann, Maiduguri, Borno State began late on Monday afternoon, forced civilians to flee.
Reports from Punch states that the terrorist took over a military position in Rann following heavy fighting, but poor visibility because of the seasonal Harmattan winds hampered the deployment of air force jets and troops were forced to withdraw.
Equally, the insurgency group went about setting fire to camps and shelters of IDPs, making most people flee the town into the bush.
Currently, the number of casualties are unknown.
