Surprising As Chief Justice Of Nigeria Forgets To Attend His Corruption
Walter Imogene, The chief justice of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has been declared absent as the code of conduct tribunal (CCT) commenced it's sitting at 10am today.
He was summoned by the court for failure to declare his asset, as regards a petition submitted by a civil society group knows as Anti corruption and research based data initiative (ARDI).
This petition was submitted to the code of conduct bureau (CCB). 47 lawyers and five senior advocate were there to defend him. He explained his actions for failure to attend his corruption trial as he blamed it on forgetfulness and admitted his mistake.
