Sudan President, Omar Al-Bashir Ousted and Arrested After 30 Years Reign .
The Sudanese President, Omar al-Bashir was ousted in a military coup and consultations are under way to form a transitional council to run the country and government.
Defense Minister, Awad Mohamed Ahmed said al-Bashir had been taken into custody and that the government had been dissolved and the constitution suspended.
He said there would be a two-year transition period, with the military in charge and announced a 10 p.m curfew.
Formerly an army soldier, al-Bashir seized power in a military coup in 1989.
