Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja ii, has finally broken silence over the buzzing issue that is currently trending on Nigeria blogs headlines, Newspapers and has sparked hot dissension between the federal government and South-west Governors.
Ooni of Ife reacted to the Federal Minister of Justice for declaring Amoketun operation illegal.
In a report gathered from a reliable source as regards the brouhaha, Ooni of Ife shed more light for the Federal government, stated that Alaafin of Oyo has a well experienced traditional ruler in Yoruba land, Old and influential first-class Oba.
Oba Adeyeye Enitan "Ooni of Ife", said his counterpart, Alaafin of Oyo has written to the Federal Government of Nigeria, President Mohammed Buhari' as regards the consideration taken by South-west leaders to curb the rampant level of kidnapping, killing of innocent souls, robbery and more illicit criminal activities which resulted to the inception of Amotekun'. He also said he's speaking the mind of all the traditional rulers in Yoruba land.
He further opened the eyes of the Federal government to have a more comprehensive understanding as regard Amotekun, Network of Vigilante in Yoruba land as a group of security that is capable under traditional ethics to fight insurgency in Yoruba land.
He proceeded onward by admonishing the Yorubaland governments, politicians, and traditional rulers to be united and supportive with full backup for the Amotekun Network Vigilante group to be a successful one.
