On Sunday, 2nd of February, 2020, General overseer of The Redeemed Christian church of God worldwide, Pastor E.O. Adeboye and his entire congregations carried out a peaceful protest tagged "Prayer Walk" nationwide.
In reactions to the killing of CAN chairman, Andimi Lawan, who of recent gruesomely beheaded by deadly terrorists better known as Boko Haram, the great man of God ordered a mass peaceful prayer walk protest to seek the face of the Lord and appeal to the Federal Government to take necessary action toward rampant killings of Christians from the heartless Islamists.
The presidency has reacted through his spokesman, Garba Shehu, and commended Pastor E.O, Adeboye, over the peaceful protest.
He further stated the shocking death of the CAN is quite shocking the President feels their pains. See below;
