Coronavirus; Here's How Governor Seyi Makinde Contracted The Covid-19

It's no longer news as Governor Seyi Makinde has joined
the list of prominent Nigerian Governors who had been tested positive for coronavirus.

It will be recalled that Seyi Makinde made this known via his Twitter handle on Monday 30th of March 2020.
He wrote:

“I just received my COVID-19 confirmation test result. It is positive. I am asymptomatic and will continue to self-isolate,” he said.

The governor, who urged residents to comply with directives aimed at curbing coronavirus in the state, said his deputy, Prof Temitope Alonge, would take over as the head of Ogun COVID-19 Task Force.

“I have designated Prof Temitope Alonge, former Chief Medical Director of the University College, Ibadan, as the Head of COVID-19 Task Force while I recover fully.

“Please, continue to comply with all the directives from the COVID-19 Task Force. Stay home, stay safe,” he added.

It could be remembered that a national rally of all PDP party members and executives was held in Ibadan the state capital 2 weeks back. Even though Mr. Governor later tendered a public apology to people of Oyo state how come he contracted the deadly virus without a recent travel profile.

Aynaijang News views that Seyi Makinde might have contracted the virus from his Party massive rally or handshakes exchange with some prominent PDP leaders.

We urge everyone that has exchanged pleasantries with Governor Seyi Makinde in Oyo state to go for tests in Lagos where the true result can be ascertained.
