Abuja-Kaduna Train Bomb Blast: Obasanjo Drops Bombshell Reaction

Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo has expressed his honest displeasure about the train attack that occurred on Monday night in Kaduna State.

Aynaijang reports that according to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) stalwart and Ogun 2023 gubernatorial aspirant, Segun Showunmi, Obasanjo was so downcasted as he was visited at his Abeokuta home on Tuesday.

It will be recalled that a train moving from Abuja-Kaduna was brutally attacked by a group of suspected terrorists, many killed, injured and others were kidnapped.

THE PDP ASPIRANT WROTE:

“I visited Chief Olusegun Obasanjo today to inform him of my intention to run for the governorship of our beloved Ogun State. I have never seen him so unhappy more like distraught. He was so sad at the state of the killings on the train and sundry matters! Looking at the rushes,” Showunmi said via Twitter.

"And reading about the carnage. I must say words fail me. It is time for us to bring out the hammer. We cannot continue like this. I do not accept that these are Nigerians killing their kits and kin. I am almost convinced that there is some type of conspiracy against us as a people, pray why are our neighbours not dealing with the same mess. Oh GOD our lord step into this situation and let the David order of leadership commence. I marvel at what we have become. Kaduna my heart bleeds.”
