Alaafin Of Oyo Next King: See Why Nigerians Says Sunday Igboho Should Be Next Alaafin

Alaafin Of Oyo Next King: See Why Nigerians Says Sunday Igboho Should Be Next Alaafin

Sunday Igboho, a Yoruba Oduduwa fighter, has emerged again on the Twitter trend following the death of Oba Adeyemi, Alaafin of Oyo.

Alaafin Adeyemi, the third from the Alowodu Ruling House, died at the Afe Babalola University in the late hours of Friday.

The late royal majesty was 83 years old and had reigned for 52 years, making him the Oyo longest-serving Alaafin.

Nigerians have taken to Twitter suggesting that Sunday Igboho is the right man to be the next Alaafin of Oyo.

See tweets below:

"Sunday Igboho would've been the best candidate to become Alaafin of Oyo or anyone who has the Yoruba interest at heart. But corruption in Yoruba land will not let them see beyond their pockets."

"Is he even from there to start with before we talk about connecting any type of ancestral royal dots.

Sunday igboho nikan ko Tuesday Gbogan ni"

"Many people underrate Sunday Igboho because of his background and lack of education. Yet, not many prominent individuals who led people towards liberation were educated. Education is good. But it is not always the hallmark of good leadership."

"Someone said Sunday Igboho is the best candidate to become alaAlaafin Oyo. NDLEA should please investigate what he sniffed before making that tweet."
