Untold Story Why Sanwo-Olu Ordered Chrisland schools In Lagos To Reopen

Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Governor of Lagos State, has asked the Ministry of Education to reopen all Chrisland Schools that have been closed across the state.

The schools will resume on Monday, April 25, 2022, following allegations of $exual misconduct by certain students in Dubai, which resulted in a viral video of the incident.

"The directive follows a review of the current administrative investigation into the incident," said Folashade Adefisayo, the state commissioner for education, who announced the reopening order.

"It's also to ensure that students have access to learning when the new term begins on Monday, April 25."

The state government had closed the schools for the safety of children and employees, as well as to allow for a thorough investigation of the situation, according to Adefisayo.

"The Ministry of Education and other state organizations, in collaboration with the school's Parent Teachers Association, will work on scheduled psychological support for the pupils," she stated.

“An extensive assessment of the school’s procedure, especially on external trips and excursions, is being made to identify safety gaps and prevent such incidents.”
