"Wizkid's EME contract was a 5-album deal, he owed us three albums"- Banky W Reveals More About Wizkid Exit (Video)

Banky W Olubankole Wellington, also known as Banky W, a Nigerian R&B king and politician, has revealed more details about Wizkid's relationship with EME Records.


In an interview with Bounce Network, the singer alleged that Wizkid, an internationally acclaimed afro-pop musician, had signed a five-album deal with EME and that he had only released two solo albums, saying he owed the labels three.


When questioned why he let Wizkid leave without finishing his albums, Banky W explained that he recognized WIZKID was growing too large at the moment and that he had to reconsider the deal and let him go on to bigger things.


He made it clear that he wanted to leave, and that was enough to keep people from staying..


He revealed in as much he wanted to leave and that was enough than forcing people to stay where they don't want to be to avoid creating an enormity . 


The R&B star later dropped an applauding statement saying their paramount pleasure is that the majority of those who worked with EME when they leave are better than when they found them.
