"Why Is Femi Falana Silence On Tinubu Certificate Forgery Saga?"- Nigerians Asks

Nigerians have called out prominent human rights activist, SAN Femi Falana

over his silence on the certificate forgery saga against President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

It's rare of him and this has sparked remarks  because of Femi Falana's glaring silence on these important national problems. His silence on the following crucial matters of national significance stands out in particular:

Reactions From Nigerians Below:

"You will recall sometime in August 2002, when Chief Gani Fawehinmi SAN dragged Tinubu to court over his certificate forgery, Femi Falana (SAN) and Yemi Osinbajo (SAN) defended Tinubu even at the Supreme Court. Despite that Bola Tinubu was found guilty of forgery and perjury per his claim of B.Sc. Economics from the same Chicago State University, and Government College Ibadan, the Nigerian Supreme Court protected Mr Tinubu on grounds of Immunity. Since the 2023 General election fraud committed by Tinubu, APC, and INEC, the senior advocate of Nigeria, Femi Falana hasn't said a word regarding that fraudulent election."

 Reaction 2

"There is what they call Attorney-Client Privilege. It means that your lawyer, whether present or former CANNOT reveal the information he was privy to.

So it is safer for him to keep mute than risk breaching that "sacrosanct trust". It doesn't necessarily mean being CORNered."

Reaction 3

"Femi Falana will support Bola Tinubu any time any day. In fact, in 2002, when Chief Gani Fawehinmi SAN wanted to roast Tinubu over certific

ate forgery, it was Femi Falana SAN and Yemi Osinbajo SAN that defended Tinubu up to the Supreme Court level.  Although Bola Tinubu was found guilty of forgery and perjury per his claim of BSc Economics from the University of Chicago & Government College Ibadan, he could not be punished because the Supreme Court shielded him on immunity grounds. Femi Falana SAN is pro corn"
